1 (9 inch) frozen pie shell 1 (8 oz.) can pineapple chunks in juice 4 lg. eggs 1 c. milk 1 tsp. cornstarch 1 tsp. nutmeg 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can tuna, drained 1 1/2 c. thin strips cheddar cheese Bake pie shell as package directs, about 10 minutes, to brown lightly. Remove from oven. Drain pineapple. Beat eggs with milk, cornstarch, and nutmeg. Layer tuna, broken into chunks, pineapple and cheese in pie shell. Pour egg-milk mixture over all. Bake at 375 degrees for about 25-35 minutes, until filling is set. Remove from oven and let stand 10-15 minutes, then cut into wedges to serve. Serves 6. |
