STRAWBERRY PUDDING 
2 (10 oz.) boxes frozen sliced strawberries
1 (3 oz.) box strawberry Jello
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. instant vanilla pudding
3 c. milk
1 c. sour cream
1 box vanilla wafers
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip

Heat together the strawberries and Jello. Do not add water to Jello. Cool. Beat together the vanilla pudding and milk until thicken, fold into pudding, sour cream and Cool Whip. Dip vanilla wafers in milk. Layer as follows (in a 9 x 13 pan). First layer: 1/2 box whole vanilla wafers. Second layer: 1/3 pudding mixture. Third layer: 1/2 strawberry Jello mixture. Repeat as above. Top with remaining 1/2 pudding mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

I substituted the sour cream with mascarpone and it was really good. I did not dip vanilla wafers in milk as I thought the desert would turn really mushy. I like the semi crunchy texture of the bottom layer. Its a nice light dessert that I would recommend.
