GLORIFIED RICE 
1/4 c. rice
2 c. water
2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 env. minute gelatin
1 c. heavy cream, whipped
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Boil rice in water until almost soft; drain. Add rice to milk; boil until tender. Mix sugar and gelatin; add to rice, stirring until dissolved. Pour into bowl; cool. Fold in whipped cream with vanilla flavoring.
