1 c. butter
1 2/3 c. sugar
5 eggs
2 c. flour
little salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Cream together, butter and sugar. Add eggs, flour, salt and vanilla. mix together. Start in a cold oven at 325°F.

Bake about one hour.
