BEEF ROLLS WITH BACON | |
1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak 1 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled 1 c. flour with salt and pepper 2 tbsp. Crisco 1 pkg. "Au Jus" (gravy mix) 1 sm. carton sour cream Pound meat until thin. Cut meat into strips 2 inches wide and 6 inches long. Flour the meat. Put some bacon in the center of strips, roll up and fasten with toothpick. Brown meat rolls. Then add water and Au Jus mix. Simmer 1 1/2 hours. Add sour cream and serve. |
