PIG-OUT COOKIES | |
Soda crackers 1 c. butter 1 c. brown sugar 12 oz. milk chocolate chips Ground nuts Line a regular cookie sheet with tin foil. Spread some butter on top of the foil and place soda crackers side by side until the sheet is covered. Cook 1 cup butter and 1 cup brown sugar until it comes to a complete boil and bubbles, 3-4 minutes. Pour this mixture over the crackers and bake 7 minutes at 375 degrees. While warm, sprinkle the top with 12 oz. chocolate chips. As the chips melt, swirl and spread. Sprinkle with nuts. Use a spatula to separate into cookies. Place in refrigerator. Don't be too concerned how you cut these. After they've been in the refrigerator for a while and they are cool, they break nicely into pieces. These also freeze well. |
