SPAGHETTI CARBONARA 
1 ham steak, diced
1/4 c. fresh basil
1 tbsp. fresh parsley
4 tbsp. Romano or Parmesan cheese
1 stick butter
1 raw egg
1 lb. spaghetti - vermicelli
1 to 4 cloves garlic (to taste)

Chop in food processor, basil, parsley and garlic. Melt butter in saucepan. Add basil mixture and ham to butter. Simmer lightly for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile cook spaghetti, drain and toss with the raw egg until the egg is cooked. Then add the ham mixture. Toss together. Season with more cheese.
