SUGARED NUTS 
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
6 tbsp. half and half
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 cups walnut halves (do not toast)

Combine sugar, cinnamon, and milk. Cook to soften ball. Add vanilla and nuts. Stir until mixture is grainy and thick. Turn out immediately onto waxed paper and quickly separate nuts with fork.
