1 1/2 lbs. of hamburger
1 sm. onion
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 pkg. dry taco mix
5 to 6 tortilla chips, crushed
1 (12 oz.) container of cottage cheese
1 (8 oz.) container of sour cream
1/2 c. sliced black olives, if desired
2 c. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
2 c. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Brown hamburger and onion together. Drain grease. Add tomato sauce and taco mix to meat mixture. Crush tortilla chips and spread in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Top with meat mixture. Add the cottage cheese, sour cream, olives and cheeses. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Serve with shredded lettuce and chopped tomatoes.
