BOURBON HOT DOGS | |
1 cup ketchup (Hunts) 1 cup bourbon 1 cup brown sugar 3 lb. hot dogs (any kind), cut in bite size pieces Put cut up hot dogs in a 2-3-quart covered baking dish, mix ketchup, bourbon and brown sugar and pour over top. Bake at 325°F for 1 hour or until hot dogs are plump. The alcohol cooks off as the top pops up while baking, but leaves the bourbon taste behind. Serve warm, a Crock-Pot works great. Don't make to far ahead of serving since the plumpness will go away. Submitted by: Mrs. Lee Strang |
