2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. + 1 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 c. water
1 c. mayonnaise
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Combine in sifter first 5 ingredients; mix well. Add next 3 ingredients; stir until smooth.

Pour batter into a greased and floured 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted into center comes out clean.

Cool completely and spread with your favorite topping.
