KOLACKY 
1/4 c. sugar
1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring
Apricot jam

Combine flour and sugar, then mix cheese and butter. Mix the flour, sugar, cheese and butter together and mix in flavoring. Divide dough in half and chill.

Roll out 1/2 at a time, about 1/4 inch tick. Cut with small round cutter. Put on ungreased cookie sheet and place 1/2 teaspoon of jam in a finger depression on each cookie. Bake at 350 degrees 20 minutes. Place baked cookies on waxed paper that has powdered sugar sprinkled on it. Makes 2 dozen.
