MARBLED FUDGE BARS 
1 c. butter
4 sqs. unsweetened chocolate
4 eggs
1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Vanilla
8 oz. cream cheese
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees; grease 9 x 13 inch pan. In large saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over low heat. Remove from heat. Beat in 2 cups sugar and 3 eggs. Stir in flour, nuts, salt, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread batter evenly in pan. In small mixer bowl, beat softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 egg, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat at medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. With large spoon, drop cheese mixture in dollops on top of chocolate batter and with knife, swirl top surface to marble. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on rack. Cut into bars. Refrigerate bars up to 1 week, covered.
