COCOA DROP COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
1 egg
3/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. nuts, chopped

Cream butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Stir in mixture of flour, soda, salt, and cocoa. Add nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls of dough about 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees 8 to 10 minutes until set and then frost cooled cookies with Browned Butter Icing. Makes 3 1/2 dozen.

BROWNED BUTTER ICING:

1/4 c. butter
2 c. confectioners sugar
2 tbsp. cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter and keep over low heat until golden brown. Blend in confectioners sugar. Stir in cream and vanilla.
