STUFFED PEPPERS 
6 med. bell peppers
1 lb. hamburger meat
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. uncooked long grain rice
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
4 oz. (1 c.) American cheese, grated

Cut off top of peppers; remove seeds. Sprinkle inside of peppers generously with salt. Cook hamburger meat and onion until brown, seasoned with salt and pepper. Add tomatoes, water, rice and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and simmer until rice is tender. Stir in cheese; stuff peppers. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
