CHOCOLATE CHIP CAKE 
2 sticks soft butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
5 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 small can coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
1 (11 1/2 oz.) chocolate chips

Mix butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla together until smooth. Add flour and mix well. Add remaining ingredients and pour into tube pan.

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour 10 minutes.

Icing:

3/4 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. water

Boil ingredients for 3 minutes. Punch holes in cake and spoon over. Let set for 2 hours.
