1/2 c. old bread, broken into pieces
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. raisins
8 sliced cooking apples
1/4 lb. butter

Grease baking dish. Lay bread and apples. Sprinkle spices, raisins, sugar, alternate with bread, apples and spices and when you finish and all the ingredients are in, pour melted butter on top. Bake in oven until golden brown at 350 degrees.
