AUNT KAY'S SOUTHERN FRIED
CHICKEN
 
Chicken pieces to serve 6
Wine vinegar or part white vinegar and part red wine
Salt and pepper to taste
Flour for dredging
1 c. Wesson Lite oil

Soak chicken in salt water. Clean and rinse. Soak chicken in wine vinegar, water and salt. Use enough wine vinegar to cover chicken. Let stand about 1/2 hour. Pat dry and pound into flour, salt and pepper. Fry in 1 cup lite oil until browned. Drain on paper towels and serve. Makes 6 servings.
