APPLE PUDDING WITH GOLDEN
CRUNCHY NUT TOPPING
 
6-8 apples, sliced
1/2 c. sugar
Dash salt
1 tsp. cinnamon

TOPPING:

3/4 c. butter, melted
1 egg, beaten
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Grease large baking dish and fill 3/4 full with sliced apples. Mix 1/2 cup sugar, salt, cinnamon and sprinkle on top of apples.

In separate bowls, mix together ingredients for topping, then pour it over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until apples are bubbling and topping turns a golden color.
