BUTTERSCOTCH APPLE RAISIN
COOKIES
 
1 1/2 c. pared, cored, chopped apples
1 c. butterscotch bits
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
1 c. white raisins, plumped
1 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. butter, softened
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. milk
1 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. rolled oats, old fashioned type

Put eggs and milk in large mixing bowl. Mix dry ingredients together and add to liquids. Add other ingredients and mix well. Drop by tablespoons 3 inches apart on greased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
