SWEET POTATO BISCUITS 
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
2 tsp. brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
1 egg
1/2 c. mashed, cooked sweet potatoes
2 tbsp. milk

Mix together and roll out to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut out biscuits and bake at 425 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 8 biscuits.
