RUM CAKE 
CAKE:

1 c. walnuts
1 pkg. yellow cake mix with vanilla pudding
3 eggs
1/2 c. softened butter
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. rum

GLAZE:

1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. water
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. rum

CAKE: Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan. Put chopped nuts on bottom. Mix cake mix, eggs, butter, water and rum at low speed until moistened. Then beat 2 minutes at high speed. Pour into tube pan. Bake in 325 degree oven for 1 hour or until cake tests done. Cool 15 minutes; remove from pan.

GLAZE: Melt butter, stir in water and sugar. Boil 5 to 6 minutes. Stir. Remove from heat. Stir in rum. Drizzle slowly over cake.
