WAFFLE COOKIES | |
1 c. butter 1 3/4 c. sugar 4 eggs 3 c. flour 4 sqs. baking chocolate 2 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. nuts Cream butter, sugar and chocolate. Then beat in eggs. Add flour slowly, add salt, vanilla and nuts. Dough will be stiff and sticky. Place 1 teaspoon of dough in waffle iron. Put in about 9 or 12 spoonfuls not touching. Bake 1 minute. Repeat until all dough is used. ICING: 1 c. sugar 1/4 c. milk 1/4 c. butter 1/4 c. chocolate chips 1/4 c. nuts Boil 2 seconds sugar, milk and butter. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips and beat until chips are melted, then add nuts. Frosting will be very thin. Frost cookies while frosting is hot. I pour from a teaspoon. |
