TOFU CUTLETS 
1 lb. pkg. firm tofu
1 egg
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash garlic powder
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 tbsp. rice vinegar or lemon juice
1/4 c. vegetable oil
2 tbsp. butter

Drain tofu and slice into 8 pieces. Beat egg in shallow bowl. Mix together flour, salt, garlic powder in another bowl. Dip tofu into egg and then flour mixture to coat. Heat oil and butter together over medium heat. Brown tofu slices in oil. Drain and then serve with sauce made from soy sauce and rice vinegar. Serves 4.
