MYSTERY MOCHA CAKE | |
3/4 c. sugar 1 c. sifted flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/8 tsp. salt 1 sq. unsweetened chocolate 2 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. granulated sugar 4 tbsp. cocoa 1 c. cold double strength coffee Mix and sift first 4 ingredients. Melt chocolate and butter well. Add milk and vanilla. Mix well. Pour in greased 8x8 pan. Combine brown sugar, 1/2 cup granulated sugar and cocoa. Sprinkle over batter. Pour coffee over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve warm or cold, plain or with whipped cream. Do not turn upside down, simply spoon from pan. |
