TASTY SOUTHERN SALAD 
5 env. Knox unflavored gelatin
7 tbsp. sugar
3 1/4 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. lemon soda or ginger ale, chilled
1 c. sliced peaches
1 c. halved strawberries
2 c. (16 oz.) plain yogurt
2 c. (16 oz.) lemon sherbet, softened
3/4 c. Wishbone Deluxe French dressing
1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts

In medium bowl, mix 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin with 5 tablespoons sugar; add 2 cups boiling water and stir until gelatin is completely dissolved. Stir in soda, peaches and strawberries. Pour onto 11 cup ring mold or bowl; chill until almost set.

Meanwhile, in large bowl, mix 3 envelopes unflavored gelatin with 2 tablespoons sugar and add 1 1/4 cups boiling water and stir until gelatin is completely dissolved. With wire whip or rotary beater, blend in yogurt, sherbet and Deluxe French dressing. Let stand until mixture is slightly thickened, about 1 minute; fold in walnuts. Spoon onto almost set peach layer; chill until firm. Makes about 16 servings.
