PEACH CRUMBLE | |
8 peaches, sliced 1 tsp. lemon juice 1 c. flour 1 c. sugar (brown or white) 1/8 tsp. salt 1/4 c. butter Fresh, canned or frozen peaches Arrange sliced peaches in a buttered baking dish 8x8x2. Sprinkle lemon juice over top of sliced peaches. Blend flour, sugar and salt; cut in the butter until the consistency of coarse corn meal. Sprinkle the crumb mixture over the top of peaches. Bake in moderate hot oven for 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Serve with ice cream or topped with whipped cream. |
