3 c. flour (sifted 3 times)
1 c. oil
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Place all ingredients in bowl and beat well.

Add:

3/4 c. chopped maraschino cherries
1 c. chopped walnuts

Bake 350 degrees 1 hour in greased and floured tube pan. Let cool and glaze.
