3 c. sugar 3 tbsp. light corn syrup 2 sq. (2 oz.) unsweetened chocolate 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. milk 1/4 c. butter 1 tsp. vanilla Combine sugar, corn syrup, chocolate, salt and milk. Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar and chocolate melts. Stir real good. Cook until thermometer reaches 234 degrees, stirring to prevent sticking. If you do not have a thermometer use cold water method. Cook until soft ball forms in cold water. Add butter. Let cool. Add vanilla and beat until smooth. |
