SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten well
3 tbsp. fat
1/4 tsp. allspice or nutmeg
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 lb. ground pork
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. minced onion
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1 can celery soup
1 can water

Combine ground meats in large bowl. Mix crumbs, milk and beaten egg. Blend into the meat. Saute the onion and add to the meat with salt, spice and pepper. Form into small balls with two teaspoons and drop into the hot fat remaining in kettle. Brown the balls on all sides, remove to plate. Combine celery soup and water in kettle. heat and add the meat balls and simmer over low heat until tender. The browning time ten to fifteen minutes.
