CHINESE CABBAGE SALAD 
Sm. pkg. slivered almonds
1/2 c. sesame seeds
2 pkgs. Ramen noodles without seasoning
1/2 c. butter
1 head Napa Chinese cabbage
5 scallions
1 c. sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. wine vinegar
2 tbsp. soy sauce

Dissolve sugar and vinegar in microwave. Cool. Add soy sauce. Mix well.

Melt butter. Brown almonds, sesame seeds and crushed Ramen noodles. Cool.

Chop Napa and scallions.

Mix all ingredients together. Pour dressing over. Chill 2-3 hours before serving.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
