SWEET AND SOUR PORK, CHICKEN OR
BEEF
 
1 lb. meat, cut small and soaked in cooking wine
2 egg whites, beat until hard
1/4 c. corn starch
2/3 c. apple vinegar
2/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. corn starch
2/3 c. water

Cut meat and soak in cooking wine. For batter, beat egg whites until hard. Add 1/4 cup corn starch and mix. Add meat and stir. Deep fry pieces of meat until brown. Set aside. Mix cold sweet and sour sauce by combining remaining ingredients. Put above mixture in frying pan and cook on medium heat until thickened. Add meat.
