SID'S SUPER FUDGE 
2 sqs. baking chocolate
2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. white corn syrup
3/4 c. milk
Dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla

1. Add chocolate to milk in heavy saucepan. Heat over low flame, stirring constantly until blended.

2. Add sugar and salt and stir until sugar dissolves and mixture boils.

3. Cover and cook over medium low flame until soft ball stage (234 degrees).

4. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla.

5. Immediately, start beating by hand. Continue beating until mixture thickens and loses gloss.

6. Turn at once into buttered pan.
