PESTO 
2 cloves garlic
1/3 c. pinenuts or walnuts
2 c. basil leaves
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. grated Romano cheese
1/2 c. olive oil

1. Mince garlic, nuts, basil, salt and pepper in a food processor or blender.

2. Add cheese.

3. Add oil in a thin steady stream.

4. Heat as needed. Store unused sauce in a covered container in the refrigerator.

5. Serve over pasta or meat. Serves 3.
