PECAN MINCE BARS | |
1 1/2 c. sifted flour 1/3 c. powdered sugar 3/4 c. cold butter 4 eggs, beaten 1 (9 oz.) pkg. condensed mincemeat (crumble) 1 c. chopped pecans 1/2 c. light brown sugar 3 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. grated lemon rind 1/2 tsp. baking powder Pecan halves (opt.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In small mixer bowl combine flour, powdered sugar and butter; mix until crumbly. Press into bottom of lightly greased 13"x9" pan. Bake 20 minutes. Meanwhile, in large bowl combine remaining ingredients except pecan halves; mix well. Spread evenly over bread crust; bake 20 to 25 minutes longer or until set. Cut into bars. Garnish with pecan halves if desired. |
