SOUTHWESTERN CORN CHOWDER 
1 1/2 lbs. Polish or German sausage (precooked), sliced
2 (17 oz.) cans cream style corn
3 c. milk or half & half
4 oz. can chopped green chilies
Black cracked pepper
1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese or Gruyere cheese, cubed

Fry sausage until brown in a large pot. Add remaining ingredients, except the cheese and pepper. Cook slowly for 30 minutes. Season with pepper. Add the cheese and cook until cheese is melted. Serves 6 to 8.
