SKILLET LASAGNE | |
1/2 lb. ground beef 1/4 c. onion, chopped 4 oz. tomato sauce 1 tsp. Italian herbs 1 c. cottage cheese 1 1/2 c. medium-size noodles, uncooked 1 tsp. parsley flakes 3/4 tsp. dried basil, crushed 16 oz. stewed tomatoes, chopped 1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded Brown ground beef and onion in large skillet. Drain off fat. Mix in tomato sauce and herbs. Spread cottage cheese on top, then noodles. Mix parsley and basil with stewed tomatoes, pour over noodles. Simmer, covered 25 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese and recover until cheese melts. |
