4 lbs. spareribs
Separate rib lengths into two-rib sections. Place in shallow roasting pan, meat side up. Bake uncovered in 450 degree oven for about 30 minutes, until brown. 1/3 c. Mazola corn oil 1/2 c. chili sauce 1 c. vinegar 1 clove garlic, finely chopped 1/2 tsp. chili powder, 1/4 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. Chow King soya sauce
Arrange onion slices on spareribs. Combine remaining ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour sauce over brown spareribs. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees and continue baking for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Baste occasionally.
