DILL BATTER BREAD 
3 1/4 c. flour
2 pkgs. dry yeast
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. instant minced onion
2 tsp. dill seed
1 c. plain yogurt
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. shortening
1 egg

In large mixer bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt, onion, and dill. In a pan, heat yogurt, water, and shortening until warm. Add this and the egg to the flour mixture. Blend until moistened, then beat on medium speed for 3 minutes. Gradually stir in rest of flour by hand to make a stiff batter. Spoon into a greased 2-quart casserole and let double in size. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
