TERIYAKI STYLE CHICKEN 
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/3 c. dry sherry
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. cider vinegar
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp. ginger
3 lb. chicken, cut into lg. pieces

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except chicken. Stir to dissolve sugar. Add chicken, turn to coat with marinade. Once coated, refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.

Grill chicken over medium heat 40 minutes, turning chicken until crisp and tender or broil for 15-20 minutes, turning once. Then remove to baking dish and bake 20-30 minutes at 325 degrees. This recipe is good for ribs too!
