MIXED PICKLES 
1 qt. of small cucumbers
1 qt. large cucumbers, cut up
2 qts. of small onions
1 qt. small green tomatoes
1 qt. of large green tomatoes, cut small
3 heads of cauliflower
6 green peppers
1/2 lb. of English mustard
1 oz. turmeric powder
4 c. sugar
2 c. flour

Make a paste of these and stir in 1 gallon of best cider vinegar. Soak the vegetables in a weak brine overnight. Boil each separately in clear water before putting in the vinegar. Cook in the vinegar a short time and seal in cans.
