PORK CHOPS AND SPANISH RICE 
8 lean pork chops
1 c. long cooking rice
1 chopped med. onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 can golden mushroom soup
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 tbsp. chili powder
garlic powder and pepper to taste
1 can full water
cheese slices

Brown chops and set aside. In 9 x 13 oblong pan mix all ingredients. (note: spray pan with Pam first.) Arrange chops on top of mixture. Cover with foil and bake 45 minutes in 350 degree oven. Optional - during last 5 minutes of baking, arrange cheese slices, onion slices, green pepper slices or mushrooms on each chop. Cover, until tender (5 more minutes). Serve.
