1 c. whipping cream 2 1/2 c. Bisquick 1 stick butter Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix whipping cream with 2 to 2 1/4 cups Bisquick. Start with 2 cups and add a little if necessary until batter is of good consistency, not too dry! Lay cloth or waxed paper out and sprinkle with 1/4 cup Bisquick. Put dough on it and knead 10 times. Press dough out with hands or rolling pin to desired thickness and cut biscuits out. Bake 5-7 minutes until barely brown. Let cool and place a pat of butter in middle of biscuits. Freeze or refrigerate until ready to use. Then cook 3-5 minutes more. These make delicious dinner biscuits plain or breakfast biscuits with ham! |
