MEAT BALLS | |
1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 egg, beaten 1 med. onion, chopped 2 stalks celery, chopped or 1 tsp. celery seed Salt to taste 1/2 tsp. pepper, black 3/4 c. oatmeal 3 slices bread, soaked in tomatoes, soup or paste Mix together to make still balls (add more oatmeal, if needed). Brown balls on cookie sheet, then place in casserole dish and pour 1 can of mushroom soup and 1 can of water over. Bake at 375 degrees for about 45 minutes. |
