CHRISTMAS SALAD 
1 lg. box or 2 sm. boxes red Jello
1 tbsp. sugar
2-1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. applesauce
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 tbsp. sugar
6 tbsp. sour cream
1/2 c. each chopped celery and pecans

For first layer, combine Jello, 1 tablespoon sugar, boiling water and applesauce. Pour into 8 x 13 inch pan and let set thoroughly. For second layer, combine cream cheese, 2 tablespoons sugar, sour cream, celery and pecans. Spread second layer onto hardened Jello. For third layer, repeat first layer using green Jello.
