SWEET CORNBREAD 
1 c. flour, sifted
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1/2 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt

Beat into meal mixture:

1 c. milk
2 beaten eggs
1/4 c. melted shortening

Pour into greased pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
