SWEET OAT CORNBREAD 
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. melted butter
2 c. milk
2 c. Bisquick mix
1 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. regular or quick cooking oats
1 tsp. baking powder

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease and flour a 9"x5" loaf pan.

Beat together sugar, butter and egg. Gradually add milk and stir in baking powder, cornmeal, oats and biscuit mix until thoroughly combined. (Batter will be thin.)

Pour into greased and floured pan. Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 375 degrees. Cool on rack 10 minutes then turn bread out of the pan. Cut into thick slices. Serve warm with butter and honey. Good toasted too.
