DIABETIC RAISIN BARS | |
Sift together: 2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. cloves 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda Combine: 1 c. unsweetened applesauce 1/2 c. oil 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 1 tbsp. liquid sweetener 1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk Blend well. Add dry ingredients. Mix and add 1 cup raisins. Bake in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool, then cut and store in a tight container in refrigerator. |
