CREAM CHEESE BROWNIES 
BROWNIE LAYER:

1 (4 oz.) pkg. Baker's German Sweet Chocolate
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwavable bowl at HIGH 2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir sugar into melted chocolate. Stir in eggs and vanilla until completely mixed. Mix in flour until well blended. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased 8-inch square pan.

Range Top: Melt chocolate and butter in 2-quart saucepan over very low heat. Stir constantly just until melted.

CREAM CHEESE TOPPING:

4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp. all-purpose flour

In same bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, egg and flour until smooth. Spoon over brownie mixture; swirl with knife to marbelize. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out almost clean (do not overbake). Cool in pan; cut into squares. Yield: 16 brownies.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
