RICE CASSEROLE 
1 c. uncooked rice
1/2 c. melted butter
1 (10 oz.) can beef consomme
1 (10 oz.) can onion soup

Brown rice in butter over medium gas flame until golden; turn off flame. Stir in beef consomme and onion soup. Turn into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole; cover and bake in 350 degree gas oven 40 to 45 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
